Ceramic Media:
General Purpose
- "M" A high performance media, that has the unique combination of fast burr removal and low media loss. Good for mild steel and some aluminum alloys.
Super Fast Cutting
- "SF" A tough, fast cutting media where the primary concern is fast burr removal, resulting in slower time cycle. Primarily used on steel.
High Density
- "DF" This media is more aggressive than the SF and will result in shorter run times. Excellent on all steel, especially stainless steel. The wear rate will be higher.
Bright Finish
- "F" Contains no abrasives. Highly recommended for bright finishes.
Plastic Media:
- "X" This is an excellent general purpose media for most aluminum alloys especially 6061-T6. It will produce fast burr removal, yet has good media life. This media has proven to be effective yet economical to use.
